Short Octagon Floor Pedestal - Various ID's and Heights Available
A simple floor base with some character for a variety of displays including small mammals, turkeys, and can be made for 14.5" ID pre-fit Mckenzie habitats like their 16" tall sibling (shown in seperate listing). These can be made from a variety of wood types, like barnwood, walnut, and oak. They come in different diamaters, but only a few options are shown. Recess on top is generally set to ~3/4", but can be adjusted as requested. (For the Mckenzie habitat, it needs to be ~2.75") For a custom diamter or material, please send me a message!
I have set a fixed price, and will only charge the actual shipping cost (sometimes less, sometimes more than the $40 quoted). If you overpay, I will refund your money. If you underpay, I will invoice you for the difference. You can also contact me for a quote prior to ordering.

Includes custom trim for exceptional fit and finish. Made like furniture, these bases are constructed to the highest quality and a step above the mass produced versions available commercially.

The 14.5" ID will accept the pre-made McKenzie habitats. You simply buy the base from me and habitat form McKenzie, attach a screw to the habitat (I can provide instructions, but it is easy and only requires a screwdriver), and you are all set. A perfect option to update your existing mount.
The barnwood styles will vary in color and wood type. I will send photos of the wood available when you order, to make sure you approve of the tones. I can also sometimes add live-edge trim as an upcharge, if desired.
SHIPPING INFO
These are bulky and weigh up to 23 pounds. The weight isn't the issue, but USPS, Fed-Ex, and UPS all up-charge for the large box. I will use the cheapest option, and as mentioned, either refund or invoice you the difference. Or, ask for a quote by providing me with your zip code!
